We believe that our customer's needs are of the utmost importance. We are committed to assisting you in choosing a puppy that will best meet your family's needs.

Please ask yourself the following questions: Is your family a high energy family or the family who likes to relax? On which activities will you expect your companion to accompany you? Do you jog and want your companion to accompany you? Do you prefer your new puppy to play Frisbee or sit by the fireplace while you watch a movie?
Are the children expecting their puppy to fetch and run or is your child a special needs child who needs a more relaxed companion who will sit on their lap or beside the child. Answering these types of questions will help
us in choosing the puppy that best fits your life style and home. Our concern is evidence by the fact that a high percentage of our customers come from repeat customers and their referrals. We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and assist you in finding a great companion dog for your family.

We are dedicated to providing you with the best possible puppy for your family and will make every effort to match your puppy's personality to your family's lifestyle. We have been involved in breeding, grooming and training various breeds of dogs for 40 years. While involved in the past with my dog grooming salon, I fell
in love with the gentle, intelligent and friendly Cockapoo breed and found this non-shedding hypo-allergenic breed a joy to style.
Our registered American Cockapoo Club females produce a variety of colors including Buff, Apricot, Carmel, Cream (light buff), Reds in various shades, occasional blacks or black phantoms and Tuxedos (mostly red or buff).  The puppy's dew claws are removed and, in the tradition of the Cocker Spaniels and Poodles, the tails are also docked.
We raise miniature and standard Cockapoos. The fully grown miniature is 11" to 14" tall and weighs between 11 and 20 lbs. However, our miniatures are usually 13" and 14" tall and weigh between 16 to 20 lbs. We also raise standards which are 15" tall or taller and can be over 20 lbs. Our standard sizes are usually only 1 or 2 inches above the miniatures or about 15" to 16" tall ( a fantastic size) and usually weigh 17 to 24 lbs. The body size of the miniature and standard Cockapoo is very similar; the main difference between the two is in the length of the legs. If your family is active in outdoor activities, we suggest you consider a puppy that will be likely to mature into a taller miniature or a standard size Cockapoo. Upon visiting our kennel, most folks cannot discern between the two sizes since they are very similar in size. Some kennels use standard poodles, however, and they may be 50 to 70 lb. range. We do not raise the very large size that is similar to the lab-a-doodles.

We truly enjoy sharing updates from our puppy customers and invite you to visit our "Placed Puppy" page (by clicking on the sub-title at the top of the page) to view their pictures and experiences. To ensure that your puppy has an enjoyable transition into your family, we are available by phone or email to answer your questions, address your concerns, or to provide you with training tips. We do suggest that you and your new puppy attend a basic obedience class when the puppy is four months old (after the puppy is protected by puppy vaccinations). The basic obedience course teaches the owners the correct way to train their new companion and helps the puppy become socialized. This also lessens the risk of puppies being given up for adoption due to problems that could have been prevented with proper training techniques.
When you pick up your new puppy, you will be provided with a folder containing a congenital health guarantee, the ACC registration , the puppy's pedigree (family heritage), a record of treatment (vaccinations/parasite treatments, etc.), your receipt of payment, a Nuvet vitamin sample / Nuvet vitamin informational sheet, and a copy of the veterinarian exam of the litter.
We are located in Southwest Michigan, about 5 minutes from the Indiana state line and about 20 minutes from the University of Notre Dame near South Bend, Indiana. We are about 1 1/2 hours from the Chicago, Illinois area. We have had many customers from the areas around Naperville, Illinois, Ann Arbor, Michigan and Sterling Heights, Michigan.

We require a $200 non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy. We are unable to guarantee the color or size of your puppy when it reaches maturity. Please visit the Contact Us page (click on the subtitle at the top of this page) for this option. Thank you.
We hope you visit again!
